As springs comes to an end the last of my orchids are still in bloom and before they all finish I tried to capture there beauty.

Thanks Sandy, I have to admit its one of my favorites, infact I have printed it on canvas with the another shot taken in the same sequence, and they look nice as a pair.

Pete Hodgson - Just about caught everyway of photographing the good old statues Peta, I am with Merv, some real beauties in this lot.
Peta - Thanks Merv, the landscape is pretty amazing but I must admit I got lost in the statues..they seemed to take on there own personatley in the different light..
mervfrench - I meant to also mention we saw a couple of Gormleys works in England. There is one with a similar style on top of a building in Oxford and apparently he was paid
200, 000 pounds to put it there.
I believe they are going to take these statues at Lake Ballard away and renew them so they can get more life out of the project.
mervfrench - Hey Peta you’ve got to be happy with those , there’s a couple of crackers there.
3,4 and 5 as good as they are would look sensational without the statues IMHO.
