What a line up as all the kite surfers took off from Rottnest for the crossing to Leighton Beach in the inaugural Red Bull Lighthouse to Leighton, presented by the WA Kitesurfing Association (WAKSA). Me too! (I think everyone in the event would like a picture- is it worth contacting WAKSA so you dont have to search for everyone?). I was number 2, at the back (last 10 kiters), blue kite, blue board, long blue pants (colour coordination was not deliberate!)

The list of kiters chasing photo’s is growing isn’t it.
I was number 39, Yellow black and white kite with ECLIPSE written in big letters right across the canopy, I had a chopper flying alongside me for a while filmimg at the start.

Not sure but we know he is a young male, so it could be he was just curious. As far as I know this is very rare occurrence.
