The Kwinana Grain Terminal is Western Australia’s primary grain export, shipping more than half the state’s grain. With bumper crops this year I expect there will be a lot of activity from the facility, especially with a total storage of more than one million tonnes.

Nice shot of the grain terminal Peta.
I think that the graffiti is actually the name of ships. It’s a bit of a tradition that visiting ships paint the name of their vessel on the dock. I think its been banned in places like Fremantle but you still see it on certain wharves but it’s not as prevalent as it used to be.

These are sensational, Peta. Esp like the third shot, with the graffiti on the dock.
Flying along the coast from Mandurah I cam across these two planes in formation. Again lovely afternoon light and a gentle ocean. They flew right under us so it was a bit of a buzz.
