Thanks Nigel
Hiya Love these, the landscape looks so different from up there. colours and contrast are amazing
Thanks Stuart, Love the description someone forgot to put the thread…it does look like that….
Its white because its salt, the rest of the area was very red dirt so the white stood out and I am not sure what the tracks are but I liked the look of it. It is out the back of Kambalda/Kalgoorlie. They have a lot of lakes out there.
Hi Peta – these are sensational. #1 and #5 look like oil paintings. #6 looks like someone forgot to put thread in the sewing machine. (BTW where is it and how come its so whit – is it frost?)
Here is a post from a aerial shoot of “The Leighton” before and after sunset. The NikonD3S is fantastic in low light situations and especially when it gets a bit bumpy and you need to extract the higher shutter speeds.

Here is a selection of landscapes that are from a few aerial shoots that I have been on in the last few months. Some are from the Goldfields area and some are not far from Kwinana. I love the rich textures and colours that are either man made or by nature.

Stuart - Nice shots, Peta. As if it wasn’t scary enough to have TB as a minister, then they
Go and give him the actual controls to the road system!
