This shoot would have to be the most challenging this month, an empty block of land in Subiaco a piece of machinery and Ballet Dancers. I was hoping for overcast conditions but blue skies and bright sun was what I had to work with. Two Prophoto lights with modelling dishes certainly made the shoot possible in the conditions.
Youth Ballet WA will present a production of Swan Lake featuring Natalia Vyskubenko from the Bolshoi Ballet in Russia and her partner Yury Vyskubenko.
Swan Lake will be performed on December 17 at 6.30pm, December 18 at 12.30pm and December 19 from 6.30pm at the Burswood Theatre.

Peta - Thanks Pete. Yes it was fun….
Pete Hodgson - Ha ha, Might have been a challenge Peta but the shots look great, well done. Love it.
Sandy@Shots - Quirky shoot…hope you had some fun!
Peta - HaHa…yes the white costumes was definitely a challenge with the bright sunshine. The girls were great as they had to look directly into the sun.
Stuart - Sounds like tough conditions -especially with white costumes and a white digger. Pics looks great. (Obviously your client has been looking at your blog and realised you’re the “go to” photog for heavy earth moving equipment pictures …)
