Birds of Coral Bay and Exmouth

Have just spent 8 days in Coral Bay, the weather unfortunately was not on my side with winds gusting up to 35 knots on a couple of the days. Ningaloo Reef looked like the outer reef with large white caps rolling in. Had a great time anyway and was able to get out and see a little of the wildlife around Coral Bay and Exmouth.

MELBOURNE AND THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD DRIVE

Its been a very busy time with working in the Pilbara and a quick trip to Melbourne for the PMA show. The PMA show was smaller than the last few years but still some interesting products to look at. I have posted a few photos from the three days I spent in Melbourne. It was great to get away for the day and drive the Great Ocean Road even though it rained most of the time.

BACK TO THE GIBB RIVER ROAD

This will be the last post for a few weeks as I head back to Broome and out to the Gibb River Road. Nigel Gaunt (Red Dirt Photography) and myself will be taking fellow photographers , mainly from Victoria on a photographic journey along the Gibb River Road. WEST KIMBERLEY – THE WET SEASON – BOABS

While working up in the Pilbara and the Kimberley over the last few weeks I did get a chance to get out for a sunrise and get some photos of Boabs. Boabs are striking without the leaves so it was great to get a chance to see them in the wet with leaves.

On Friday I managed a couple of hours to get down to South Perth to see the Red Bull pilots going through there paces. The weather wasnt the best for photos but it was good to test the 400mm lens out.
