The Kwinana Grain Terminal is Western Australia’s primary grain export, shipping more than half the state’s grain. With bumper crops this year I expect there will be a lot of activity from the facility, especially with a total storage of more than one million tonnes.
Flying along the coast from Mandurah I cam across these two planes in formation. Again lovely afternoon light and a gentle ocean. They flew right under us so it was a bit of a buzz.
Here is a couple of pics from around the shipyards, I always fly over the shipyards back to Jandakot airport and it was so nice to see a still ocean and nice afternoon light. I think winter is the best time for aerial work.
I was out on a shoot the other evening taking photos of the Mandurah entrance road artwork and I thought I would try an effect that I read on Sandys blog. Now that I figured it out I can see a few applications for this effect in some of my commercial work.
