Another construction site shoot but this time on Garden island, always a nice drive over the causeway to HMAS Stirling. Thanks to the guys for allowing me to shoot a few fun shots….

Had an interesting aerial shoot this week, 80kms of railway track. The countryside was amazing, so rich in colour and the fields had just been harvested so heaps of interesting patterns along the way. With the cyclone up north pushing easterly winds down it was extremely windy and with the temperature around 36 degrees it…

Why thank you Mark…..
Sweet Aerials as always Peta…you are the airgirl for sure!
Thanks Stuart, It was very interesting following 80kms of track through farmland and the salt lakes. Would love to go back to the area as there are so many salt lakes and loads of amazing patterns….
Hi Peta. These are all sensational. My favourites are #5, 26-27, 33, 40 – but the list could go on. I would hate to be the apprentice on the constrcution when someone realises that that blue drum has been left behind… Great work.
Thanks Merv, Happy New year.
Yes it was very hot and extremely bumpy,I prefer it to be a lot smoother, you get a lot less bruises….
Great set of images Peta. I don’t think Id like the bumpy ride though.

This shoot would have to be the most challenging this month, an empty block of land in Subiaco a piece of machinery and Ballet Dancers. I was hoping for overcast conditions but blue skies and bright sun was what I had to work with. Two Prophoto lights with modelling dishes certainly made the shoot possible…

Thanks Pete. Yes it was fun….
Ha ha, Might have been a challenge Peta but the shots look great, well done. Love it.
Quirky shoot…hope you had some fun!
HaHa…yes the white costumes was definitely a challenge with the bright sunshine. The girls were great as they had to look directly into the sun.
Sounds like tough conditions -especially with white costumes and a white digger. Pics looks great. (Obviously your client has been looking at your blog and realised you’re the “go to” photog for heavy earth moving equipment pictures …)

Stuart - Nice work, Peta. I bet your subjects loved posing for the “Boofy Blokes on Dunnies” set piece…
