Cottesloe Beach set the world record with 2088 people on bright yellow thongs and beat last years winner by 712. The weather was hot but produced smooth conditions and looked spectacular from the air. The colours were amazing, the water was so clear.
Its over for another year the 2011 Red Bull Lighthouse to Leighton Kite Surf Race and it wasn’t all smooth sailing with the disqualification of the first two kites. The winner was Dale Stanton with a time of 28 minutes and 45 seconds.

Wow…that is 12 months that flew by. I remember being there last year! Cool aerials , as always Peta, nice job! Merry Christmas to you and yours….look forward to seeing more pics in 2012. Maybe when I get back next year we can catch up for that coffee. xxx
If you have trouble locating photos of IanMac just look for the 56′ cruiser as he was attached to that for quite some time.

WA Health Conference took place on 29-30 November at the Burswood Entertainment Complex. Keynote speaker Professor Fiona Stanley gave a presentation on Partnerships for Better Health. The Nikon D3S worked well in the low light so I was able to use natural light for the entire event and not interrupt speakers with a flash.

Peta - Thanks Luke, yes thats one of my favourite shot as well, I did try and just get a few in but it was a bit crowded.

Peta - Thanks Merv, was up circling for around an hour and a half waiting for them to get all lined. Did get a few of them all finally linked just before they all broke up. It was a bit of fun, and the conditions were perfect.
mervfrench - Great shots Peta you must have circled for a while. I don’t think theres a shot of them all in the water at once by the look of it . Probably organized chaos on the beach.
